Influence Conference Meet and Greet
You all know I love community. We’ve worked hard to establish a sense of familiarity even here in the blogosphere. I love to know and to be known. I love to ask questions and I love to answer them. {Seriously, I don’t just ask a question at the end of every post because they told me at a blogging conference that I needed to. . .}
Speaking of blogging conferences {what a great segue}. . .
I am so excited to be attending the Influence Conference next month. It seems as though half of the attendees are pregnant {but I PROMISE I will not push this blog on them}. I’m more excited to get in a room with a bunch of beautiful {seriously, these girls are beautiful} women who want to deepen their understanding of how to use their influence for God. But I’m getting ahead of myself. . .that last sentence is a great answer to one of the questions.
I’m linking up today with many of these girls for a pre-conference meet and greet. Indulge me as I write a little more about myself than I am usually comfortable with for the sake of making friends before I make the trek to Indy in 6 weeks. Here it goes. . .
3 Get To Know Me Things. . .
1. One of my dearest friends is my OB/GYN. I know, weird. But having someone I see socially do my pap smear was the trade off for having a dear friend hold my hand through infertility, multiple miscarriages, several surgeries and two amazing births.
2. I would move to England in a heartbeat. Absolutely love it there.
3. I’m terribly shy at first but once I feel comfortable, I’m really fun {just like my 4 year old}.
2 Things I’m Looking Forward To About The Conference. . .
1. Meeting all of you {but please bear with me if I’m shy at first, refer to #3 above}.
2. Being inspired to better use my story for HIS glory.
1 Thing I Can’t Leave Home Without. . .
1. My flat iron. Seriously, my natural frizz would scare you. I’m sporting it now. It’s not pretty.
If you’re visiting from the link up, thanks for stopping by! Can’t wait to meet all of you soon!
P.S. I also blog here.

Hi!! Just found you on another person’s blog in your comment where you mentioned living in Nashville. ME, TOO!!!!!! I’m dying to meet more bloggers and create a blogger friend circle here locally. I would love to meet you. I’m still looking for any roommates for the conference, so if you know any – please send them my way.
Thanks and will see you soon!

My biggest fear Nicole is having it go out on the day of an important event. I need to carry a spare just in case!
