About Us

A girlfriend’s thoughts and a doctor’s wisdom come together for a faith-filled journey to motherhood. Whether you are trying to conceive, pregnant with baby #1 or #5 or simply considering beginning your journey to motherhood, we are so glad you are here! We discuss infertility and miscarriage because it’s a part of our personal stories as well as trying to conceive, pregnancy, birth, postpartum and the early stages of motherhood. Even if you are beyond your child-bearing years, you have something to contribute to the conversation and our moms and moms-to-be could benefit from your experience. If you are looking for a peaceful, faith-filled path to motherhood or want to help others along their journey – join us as we allow God to encourage our hearts together.

Hi, I’m Jessica. I am wife to the most amazing man, Dave and mother to 2 miracle babies – Hope (4 years) and Joshua (9m). I am a recent stay-at-home mom trying to figure out my new job. After 15 years working in the Christian music and publishing industries, I was blessed to be able to stay home after my little man was born last summer. I always figured it was true but now I know for sure that being a stay-at-home mom is the hardest job on the planet! Our little blessings came to us after a long road of infertility and multiple miscarriages. That experience birthed in me a burning desire to minister to moms and moms-to-be. I have the great honor of partnering with my sweet friend and OB, Heather Rupe to offer women encouraging thoughts and medical information wrapped in the grace of Jesus. I pray you find the words within these blog pages life giving. Thank you for joining us and I hope you’ll join the conversation. We have so much to learn from one another!

I’m Dr. Heather Rupe and I have been blessed with the privilege of helping bring life into this world for the past 7 years.  I’m a full time OB/GYN in private practice in Franklin, Tn.

The internet is full of scary facts and misinformation.  My heart for this site is to help women have the most peaceful, enjoyable, healthy pregnancy possible.

I am blessed with two very active boys and an amazingly supportive husband, who is a stay at home dad.  I love to run, read, write and laugh.  Most weeks are pretty chaotic for me, but God gives me the grace and strength to serve my patients and my family.

After a long journey, our youngest son was brought to us by the miracle of adoption.  My own struggles to complete my family have given me a new level of compassion for those women whose arms ache to hold a child of their own.
